Terms of service

Last updated 7 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and BDIELTS when you use BDIELTS. Using the platform means you accept them.

BDIELTS is a practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the IELTS test or its owners — the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Bands you receive here are practice estimates to help you prepare. They are not official IELTS results and cannot be used for any application.

Accounts

  • Your account is yours alone. Do not share your password or let anyone else sit a test as you.
  • Give us details that are true. Your results are attached to the name on the account.
  • An institute may create an account for you. If it does, that institute can see your results and manage your access.
  • We can suspend an account that is used to abuse the service, to cheat, or to copy our test material.

Free test and locked tests

A new student account includes one full mock test at no cost. The rest of the tests unlock when you pay for full access from your wallet, at the price your institute sets. A test you have started counts as used, whether or not you finished it — this mirrors the real exam and stops a test being sat twice.

A refresh, paid from your wallet or pressed by your institute, opens every mock test and every paid AI speaking test again for a new period. Days left on your old period are not added on. Your past results are kept.

Paying

  • Prices are set by your institute, not by us, and are shown before you pay.
  • We do not take card payments and we never store card details. Payment is by bKash, Nagad, Rocket, bank transfer, or cash to an agent.
  • Money added to your wallet can be spent anywhere in BDIELTS. It cannot be withdrawn as cash.
  • A top-up appears in your balance once your institute confirms it against its own records.

Refunds

If you were charged for something you did not receive, tell your institute first — it holds the money and can correct it. If that is not resolved, contact us and we will look at the account record. We do not refund tests you have already sat.

Marking

  • Listening and Reading are marked automatically and are final.
  • Writing receives an AI band immediately and, where your institute provides it, an examiner band afterwards. The examiner band is the one that counts.
  • Speaking practice is scored by AI on what you said, as transcribed. A live speaking test is marked by the examiner who took it.
  • AI marking can be wrong. If a band looks clearly out of place, tell us and we will have it looked at.

Test material

The questions, passages, audio and model content on BDIELTS belong to us. You may use them to practise. You may not copy, record, republish or sell them, or use them to build a competing service. Sharing test content is the fastest way to lose an account.

Institutes

  • An institute applies with its trade licence and is checked by a person before its account opens.
  • The institute is responsible for its own students, its own prices and its own refunds.
  • An institute may not resell or expose BDIELTS test content outside the platform.

Availability

We work to keep BDIELTS running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. If a technical fault costs you a test attempt, tell us and we will restore it.

Our liability

BDIELTS helps you prepare. We cannot promise a band, and we are not responsible for a result you receive in the real exam, for an application that is refused, or for any loss beyond what you paid us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when. Continuing to use BDIELTS after a change means you accept the new version.
